PASSION FOR PAINTING ART GALLERY is located in the heart of the
downtown St. George historic district. This lovingly-restored pioneer
home catches your eye with its shady porches, white curtains and
Victorian lamppost.
Every
care has been taken to preserve the historic aspect of the building.
The crumbling chimneys were rebuilt, wooden porch pillars restored
and the new shingle roof kept the original claw-foot ridgecap.
The inside is just as inviting with original doorknobs and wood-trimmed
windows. Old-time picture moulding is used to display the artwork
and the telephones are authentic reproductions having the charm
of the old with the features of the new. A variety of gift items,
antiques, and the artwork of over 15 local artists is available
for purchase to suit any décor. Local jewelry artists offer
their wares in—what else?—an old-fashioned candy counter!
